“Alexis is the first social media influencer I’ve ever shot and she’s beautiful. Our favorite piece of art we made together Instagram told her to take it down for “nudity” violation. I found this demand repulsive, so Alexis and I planned to create an NFT where our art won’t be stifled by social media’s insane standards.
“When we first met I was surprised she knew so much of my work and was a fan, I told her “so am I!” She has a very distinct look and style and what she wants to shoot, she knows her audience so well but also wants to branch out and be another side of herself. Which I respect.
“During the time we were shooting in St Barths I grew to like her a lot and enjoy her company. I’ve been shooting photos on Shell Beach with beautiful women since the 80’s. So it was fun to recreate a photo from 30 years ago with a new beautiful woman who also taught me about her world of social media.”
